As a type 2 diabetic, I am frequently struggling with food choices. Breakfast has been one of my biggest challenges - it's not easy to eat a satisfying breakfast without overloading on carbs and spiking my blood glucose levels. And I certainly don't have enough time to cook a healthy breakfast on work days.
Joan's Sweet Treats have been a godsend for both me and my wife. One bar with a cup of coffee or tea makes for a convenient grab-and-go breakfast and actually keeps me satisfied until lunchtime. Plus, my post-breakfast glucose readings are LOWER than when I first wake up. I haven't found any other breakfast choice that can do that without leaving me hungry and irritable.
We've been handing out bars to our family and friends to get the word out. Joan is really on to something here and I want everyone to know about it.

Joan,
I was told that these were granola bars but I have never tasted granola bars like this one. They are not dry like most granola bars. I liked the fact that you have all natural ingredients and that it has less calories than a regular chocolate bar. I liked that you used rolled oats and ground wheat berries which are a good source of fiber. The best thing about it was the taste because it was moist and sweet and had a pleasant aftertaste. After I ate one, I wanted more but I was really surprised how just one filled me up. It was vary satisfying for a mid meal snack.

I thought that your product was very good but I found it to be too sweet for my tastes. Do you have any bars that are less sweet? I would also like to see a variety of flavors that could be made available.
Natural Mom
I thought it was nice but I am not crazy about chocolate chips do you have any other flavors that are available? I would like to see it with raisins instead.

Wheat Berries have a nice subtle nutty flavor to them.. This will be perfect for people with nut allergies. You get those nice nutty overtones without the nutty gut!

Walnuts are actually not a true nut. They come from a familiy of trees that produce drupe fruits.

These are fantastic! My daughter and I love them, especially the chocolate ones. Thanks so much!
